Message
I wish to express my heartfelt congratulations to the International Angel Association for the 36th anniversary of its field activities in Bangladesh. I would like to express my sincere
respect to all its staff members and supporters for their unrelenting efforts in a wide range
of fields.
I am delighted to see successful activities of the International Angel Association, such as
the Children’s Care Center, Student Support Program, Women’s Education Program, School Construction Program, Sanitation Program, and so on. It is noteworthy that your activities in Bangladesh have been providing a lot of opportunities in education, healthcare, and agricultural fields, and we hope for your continued success.
Japan and Bangladesh have been time-tested friends since the latter’s independence, and
the year 2022 will mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
between the two countries. We would like to take this opportunity to further deepen our
relationship.
The International Angel Association has enhanced the grass-roots level contacts between
Japan and Bangladesh for 36 years through its activities here in Bangladesh. I hope it will
continue to play an invaluable role not only as an organization of development cooperation but also as a bridge between the peoples of Japan and Bangladesh.
I hope the commendable activities of the International Angel Association will flourish in
the upcoming years. Congratulations again and wish you all the best for further success
as one of the leading Japanese NGOs.
Naoki Ito
Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh
